Reviews
I always have a good experience when I come here. The staff are so helpful their inventory is very stocked up. With a good number of sizes for everything. My girlfriend and myself do most of our clothing shopping here and we rarely ever leave with nothing.
I love going to this location. Over the past few years I have found a good selection of leggings and tops that were actually on the sale racks in my size! I normally can’t find my size in stores (for original priced items) as it is always sold out, but I guess I’ve gotten lucky a few times with their clearance. They are typically busy, so I don’t always get greeted, but it doesn’t bother me much as it is a smaller store and understandable that they might not be able to see me walking in with the amount of people shopping. The girls who work there are very nice & offer great customer service whenever I have had questions etc.- love chatting with them! they make you feel welcomed and are really relatable, it’s just like talking to a friend.
We shop Lulu mostly online but are also in this store at least once a month, especially because hemming is required on most of the leggings and shirts and occasionally we need to exchange for a different size or color. I can easily say that I leave irritated 90% of the time after our interactions with staff. They can't look-up anything with an original online receipt, even if you're logged into your account and have your "wait is over" email confirmation of shipping. Staff here do not listen and are flat out disrespectful.
The final straw today was regarding how they let people enter the store and then handling of an exchange. This is a small location and understandably at Christmas, is very busy. Having a que line makes sense from an emergency management standpoint as well as theft prevention.
They had 2 lines to enter today. One was for shopping only. The other was for exchanges/returns. My daughter and husband went to the exchange/return line (with only 4 other people in it) because she needed a different size of pants. My other daughter and I went to the shop line which had no one in it. The person at the door (never saw before) asked if we were exchanging something. I said no. She then asked if we were with my husband and daughter (with whom she saw us walking up to the store). I replied yes but that we wanted to shop. She told us we had to stand in line with my husband and daughter who were exchanging an item and could not enter without them. She could not explain why only saying that it was their policy. There was a young girl in line in front of my daughter and husband who stated she worked at a different Lulu store outside of Greenville and her store did not do that. We stood there and watched a woman and young man walk up to the shop line and be immediately let inside the store. I again questioned the lady at the door about the policy and suddenly she let everyone in the exchange/return line inside the store.
Once inside, we had to stand in two different lines to simply exchange for a different size as we wanted the same style pant in the same color. What should have been a simple size change ended up being a fiasco because the first exchange sales/counter person would not listen to us. Ultimately, the final sales lady we dealt with had to get special permission to finagle their system. It was absurd!!!
It's got to the point that I start getting anxious walking up to this particular store because there's no way to prepare for whatever nonsense the staff are going to pull. I’d rather drive an hour plus elsewhere than have to deal with the staff at this store who portray themselves as doing the costumer a favor to let the customer breathe their air.
Parking for the location is extremely difficult as well.
Purchased 2 pairs of leggings today and asked the cashier about a discount for an older pair of leggings I had that were coming apart and a supervisor/ manager interrupted the conversation and was completely rude while explaining the policy which I understand I was not upset she was just extremely rude. She ended the conversation as “it’s going to be a no today”. That was very confusing as if I would have came in on another day it would have been a different outcome.
I had a pickup order here today and my boyfriend went and picked it up for me. He wasn’t greeted when he walked in and waited at the counter. He finally had to ask the girl there if she could help him with a pick up order and she told him she was about to leave. He then had to ask her to get someone else. Customer service shouldn’t be this bad at a place people pay so much for the products.
Had to exchange ge a pair from 28” to 25” bc I didn’t check the length before buying. So I returned to the store 4 days later and was asked to pay an extra $12 even though I was literally just exchanging for a shorter pair, with tags and all. Now they have an order to get the 28” hemmed and I have to go BACK to pick them up in 5-7 business days. Absolute insanity. Wish I could give zero stars.
Fun location. Great walking area. Small store with a good selection.
Such a nice people working at this store I usually go here when i need to exchange for a different size or get it hemmed. Had very nice experience at this location! Their customer service is on top! Looking forward to visit this store in the future.
